Her illustrations center around food, women & lifestyle and her cat Pina, with inspiration from her love of bold colors, whimsical forms and playful aesthetics. Being originally from Texas, her southern roots often find a place within her work as well.

While always closely linked to the creative arts, her career path did not start out in illustration and design. In 2014 she enrolled in an evening course in graphic design just for fun. Little did she know that this twice a week class to satisfy her creative itch would change the course of her life. From the first class she was completely captivated. She recognized so many elements of graphic design that had been present her entire life. From things like set design, layout design and hand drawn lettering to making her own invitations and decoupaging old furniture.

This captivation quickly became an obsession and she took every related course she could find. Two years later she was accepted into the Digital Content Design program at Medieinstitutet in Stockholm. During this time she started a daily drawing practice to improve her skills for creating logos and icons. This simple, 30-minute, daily practice quickly evolved into her greatest passion – illustration.

Grace Ann also enjoys taking deep dives into logo, packaging, poster, and menu design.
